If the vehicle still has mileage or time left on the warranty, then the defects must be presented while the warranty counts. Extended service warranties and contract will not apply with the Lemon Law.

All defects in your vehicle that needs repaired while you are using the vehicle must be covered.

How many repairs before Lemon Law applies?

There isn’t a set number of times that the vehicle must be repaired or worked on to apply for the lemon law. The automaker will need to see where reasonable efforts to repair the issue was attempted which could be as little as two times. There is no law requiring the same part or component needs to be repaired to qualify under the Lemon Law.
